Do you love to crochet or knit? Are you looking for a way to use your talents for a good cause? Then join the Presbyterian Hook & Needle Club! We are a group of crafters who come together to create beautiful, handmade items for those in need.
We're currently focusing on a special project: creating twin-sized blankets for the residents of Brothers Bonaventure rehabilitation and nursing facility. They are in need of more blankets, and we would love your help! If you have blankets you've already made, or you're interested in making one, please consider donating.
We've also collected a number of lap blankets that are seeking a new home. If you know of a nursing home, a Veterans Affairs facility, or another organization that could use them, please let us know. We are partnering with the Veterans Memorial Library in Roselle Park and will be donating the blankets to a nursing home in Old Bridge, NJ.
Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, we'd love for you to join us. We meet on the second Tuesday of every month at 7:15 PM for about an hour and a half of fellowship and crafting.
