OUR MISSION
Sharing Christ's Love Through Action
The Mission Committee is dedicated to sharing the love and teachings of Jesus Christ
through meaningful action, serving our community and beyond.
What We Do
We organize initiatives to support and uplift our community, including:
- Monthly Food Pantry: Providing essential supplies to those facing food insecurity.
- Souper Bowl of Caring: An annual, fun and festive lunch event, engaging with the community and partners to combat hunger.
- Donation Drives: Regularly collecting clothing, food, and other necessities in support of the food pantry and our community projects.
- Community Projects: We partner with churches, schools and organizations, both locally and globally, to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
We often collaborate with local partners and the Scouts, and welcome students needing community service hours.
Our Partnerships
Our reach extends through proud partnerships with:
- Community Organizations: Providing financial and practical support to groups aligned with our mission to:
- Feed the hungry.
- Strengthen the community.
- Protect the future for children.
- Partnerships:
- Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, Brother Bonaventure, Be the Change, Live Like a Unicorn, Brandon’s Heart and Sole, The Janet Fund, Flourishing Academy Phident School (Ghana), Tau Chi Chapter, Inc. of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Thorne Foundation, and the N.J. Integrated Black Nurses Association. We have partnered with many others over the years.
